Welcome!

In the ever changing world of information access, librarians are perpetually being challenged to seek new ways of reaching students and teach them about information organization and access. The advent of new technologies also challenges us to seek new ways to reconstruct our profession. We must strive to organize and provide access to information in ways that acknowledge the new world we live in and the shared experiences of our students. This blog is intended as a place where Information professionals can dialog about issues related to this, share information and expand this conversation.

To stimulate the inception of new conversations, I suggest you read "Information Literacy: The Changing Library" by Cushla Kapitz. It will provide much food for thought for navigating this new world we have entered.
